This is in response to Kats comment, iv tried to include the surroundings around where the person is being stored... what do you think? im not impressed...
i'm so happy you've tried this. i think it works. surely you could work on the lighting a little more to make it more striking, but this is a matter of taste. i think, if you found more places and spaces to store packaged humans, the series would definitely work. then you have also the possibility to decide, what atmosphere you want to create in the pictures. this one is e. g. a little scary, i have to say, and i mean it positively, cause it does have an effect on me, which is i guess the whole point. and i do start thinking: 'why on Earth there is a man in that closet or corner?! he looks like a doll in a way, but he could also be a (threatening) robot, ready to strike on anyone, OR i see as well, that he is so smoothly built into his surroundings, which suggest, that he IS part of the boxes, packages, stuff. He looks like a half packaged doll. These are my impressions. ;)
